Tri-Trenum is an illegal, underground steroid containing three different esterified forms of the potent anabolic steroid trenbolone. The drug is not a medically approved product for human use and is illegally acquired by some bodybuilders and athletes for performance enhancement
- Trenbolone Acetate: A fast-acting ester that provides an initial, rapid effect.
- Trenbolone Hexahydrobenzylcarbonate (or Enanthate): Slower-releasing esters that maintain stable trenbolone levels in the blood over a longer period.
- Medical use: It was originally developed for use in veterinary medicine to increase muscle growth and appetite in cattle. It has never been approved for human consumption.
- Controlled substance: The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) classifies trenbolone and its esters as Schedule III controlled substances.
- Cardiovascular issues: High blood pressure, negative effects on cholesterol, and an increased risk of heart attack.
- Mental and psychological effects: Mood swings, aggression (“roid rage”), anxiety, and insomnia.
- Kidney and liver damage: Significant stress and potential damage to major organs.
- Hormonal suppression: It can severely suppress the body’s natural production of testosterone, leading to testicular shrinkage and infertility.
- Physical changes: Severe acne, oily skin, hair loss, and gynecomastia (enlarged breast tissue in males).
- “Tren Cough”: A common side effect is a sudden, violent cough immediately following an injection.
